HERNÁN
CABO
Madrid, 1981.
He’s not on Wikipedia. He doesn’t wear glasses, but he does have a beard. His parents didn’t own a Cinexin or the damn Minolta. He learned his craft at the Focus II video store in his neighborhood. He’s been directing since he was 20 and now he’s approaching 40.
He approaches shooting a massively distributed online campaign with the same passion as a TV commercial, because whether it’s traditional advertising or new advertising, they will always share some common ground: a story and people in places to direct.
Director of Los Seriotes for AXN. He’s currently preparing his second feature film and prays to his personal gods—Spielberg, Hitchcock, Berlanga, and Fesser—to keep learning.
